I'd go with *less* rather than more... PDFs are great for printing things
off but you need a less commmon and quite expensive program to actually edit
them, to wit: Adobe Acrobat. Pricey and not many people have it.
The docs from all the LTCs up to now have been done as .doc (MSWord) files,
I cribbed from several others (I have a fair collection of them but would
welcome more...) to create ours. Yes, yes, word is proprietary but it's
everywhere.

No, see above. If you want a LCD format, probably saving it as .rtf would be
a good approach, and I can do that. You lose some stuff though.
