I like the "input stirrer".  That can be a requirement when you have balls going
into such a narrow path, like you have there.

It's also funny how two balls come out at a time, even though only one is fed in at
a time.  It's cool to see all those quirks.

This stuff is pretty fun, isn't it?  I'm looking forward to seeing your next module.

We're going to have a good time with the GBC at Brickfest this year...
Steve

The tube is wider than the balls so the balls are sitting in a zig-zag fashion
all the way up--one ball that is high enough to fall out won't 'cause it's
resting against the opposite wall.  Then it gets pushed up and the second ball
that's resting against the wall with the ramp falls out, bringing the top ball
with it.

Doesn't seem to do that if the tower is shorter--then one ball comes out at a
time.

I could probably put a sloped brick to push the balls out towards the exit, but
eh, it works.

The hopper gets a little shake to move the balls around--like a washing machine
agitator--the hopper can hold 40+ balls and, now, rarely gets jammed up.
Sometimes it takes about 20 seconds to get itself unplugged, should a plug
occur, but, due to the shaking motion, it eventually gets unplugged.  It never,
as far as I've seen, gets temporarily plugged up when there are fewer than 20
balls in the hopper, so I'm pretty much good to go.

Thanks for the encouragement--I'm sure all rtl'ers are appreciating the fact
htat I'm devoting my time to the GBC, seeing as how there's nothing else for me
to devote my time to at htins moment... ;)

Is there going to be a BF this year?

(...) Hi Dave, Just to let you know, yes there is going to be a BrickFest this year, although the date is still to be announced. Janey "Red Brick" (19 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
