Just afteer an idea of how many Victorians are likely to be making the • trip
up, and what sort of forces they'll be able to provide for the Brickwars
battle
I will be going, and have made an assault vehicle which can have a
crew/assault force of about 15-20.

Speaking of which...what are the force limits?
More importantly, for those of us unfamiliar with Brickwars, where can I
find the rules that we will be playing with?  I have seen rules for pirate
wars (I think, it was a while ago) but was unsure what rules we were going
to be using.

Urk.
As previous arbiter of all things dicey, chancy and otherwise improbable,
it's likely my call on this one.
The rules are to be found at
http://www.teleport.com/~rayhawks/brikwars/contents.htm
These are the latest (2000) version. You _must_ master the contents of
chapters 1 and 3. If you are fielding vehicles, chapter 4 is necessary and
if you are fielding large weaponary, check out ch6. To arm the rest of your
guys see ch2.
We'll play Teklevel 5 I think so when reading/designing keep this in mind.

Now that everyone is up to speed, we'll need a scenerio.

For countless generations (well the last few months at the very least) the
small planet of mehico (or vicland as it appears on star-charts) was the
target of some very (very, very) grumpy maruding space pirates. Deciding
enough was enough they mounted an expiditionary force to destroy the
pirates' home base, on the planet Colovale in the Welshishish system.
Unfortunatly for the mehicans the Welshishish secretly support the pirates
in order to undermine the trading power of their rival neighbour and so
provide some hefty military support for the pirates. The stage is set for a
romping good battle.

There are no limits on the amount of stuff to bring but be aware that game
time is of the order of (number of figs)squared. Teklevel5, 2000version
rules. No commanders (one hero on each side will be designated commander and
have his stats bumped, yes this may be worked out pre-event), heroes other
specialists (ch8.) must follow ratios given. (but you can organise with
other players the satisfaction of these limits, ie they bring the 7 troops
and you provide the hero.) Finally the most important note. You must have a
peice of paper (or some other readable copy) with the unit(s) statistics,
weaponary, special notes (home address and teleph... just kidding)
information shown. I'm not a bookkeeper so I'm putting my foot down, no
info, no play.

Further, the pirates base is a ruined town sort of thing, the more scenery
the better the game so please bring a (ruined or not) building or two along.

James (who has 150 medieval figs ready for Kevin if he's coming and now
needs to make some space men for brickwars?)

YUP.... Kevin is coming to the meet.... and 150 figs...cool James.... for
anyone else who can help, I'm doind a photo shoot for my up and coming
medieval website, and am in need of extras for a battle scene between, bulls
and falcons...against a lion (80's and 90's, not new Knights Kingdom) army.
I'll post some pics on Brickshelf of what the armies are to look like.

Kev... : )
