I have no problem with you not being able to spell. I just think it is unwise to
be unable to spell and to call someone thick.

For an example, we
ordered 40,000 hooks from China.  They are the kind that go on peg board.
The ends were supposed to be upturned so the items would stay on the hooks.
They were shipped to us and were bent down.  We had to send them back to
China to get repaired. Does this mean I don't like Chinese people?  No, I was
not too thrilled at their quality control person thought.  Is it a valid
complaint? Yes, and is indictive of their production standards.  Not only did
someone bend them wrong and missed that, quality control missed it.  The
people that packed them missed that too. That does say something about their
production.

So because you had a problem with some hooks from a Chinese company you now
believe that all production in China (and the Czech Republic) is poor? I would
call that gross stereotyping which is a form of racist behaviour when it applies
to a country or nationality. Not neccesarily bad per se but in your original
email I would say it came across as somewhat racist.

To make sure I'm being perfectly clear about it I'm not calling you a racist, I
don't know you enough to call you a racist. I am however saying your email was
somewhat racist in tone.

Now if you would like to see a great lego room, just
finished, tell how to put pictures in these postings and I will do that. Your
friend, John P (956)

If posting from the web you need to set posting to FTX and do <<url-of-image>>
(eg. <<http://news.lugnet.com/news/icon-home.gif>> will put the lugnet logo in).
Not sure if you can do it from a newsgroup browser.

Tim, Tim, Time: I noticed you bigotted comment about the Army. Actuall the Army integrated in 1948 under Truman. I believe that predates Selma and other marches for freedom and was also before Martin Luther King. Now put down the dictonary and get (...) (18 years ago, 30-May-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
