Possibly just as sinister, if not more..
I remember hearing something about the proceedings from a Coca Cola
shareholders presentation from 30-40 years ago. One of the items was a picture
of a national monument with a water fountain nearby. This was highlighted as
one of the things that they were lobbying to get removed, as then they could
innocently put up a vending machine or stall nearby.
The land of the free (to drink CocaCola TM). I had a fruitless web-search to
find out more about this, but if anyone else knows about it then I'd be
interested in hearing more about it!
