Further, and as I have mentioned elsewhere, the overthrow of SH is a
warning to other tinpot dictators who might be considering harboring
terrorists. We have shown that we arent afraid to take action against
such scum. Again, this denies the pukes places to organize, train, etc.
|
There is zero proof Iraq was harboring anyone plotting moves against the
U.S.

AQ, in particular, is supra-national. Cells may exist in as many as 60
countries including the U.S. Are we going to go after them all, John?
|
Certainly some. And convince and assist the other countries to purge them by
themselves.
|
Bully, you mean?
|
|
|
Now you tell me what specific civil liberties you have had to sacrifice
as a result of the Bush administration.
|
Freedom from being summarily investigated and databased.
|
Really? When were you summarily investigated and databased?
|
People are being
denied the right to travel by air on the flimsiest pretexts.
|
Cites please.
|
Lead article in this months Reason:
http://www.reason.com/0308/fe.bd.suspected.shtml
covers both the cite request for loss of privacy and the cite request for denial
of right to travel. Note that now that the feds took over, there no longer is
the valid defence of try another airline, there is a free market in airline
policy available to you.
In particular, pay close attention to this part: (cited for purposes of review
and excerptation, go buy the magazine, its good):
Judge: I understand, you said all of that. You were saying the rule is not void
for vagueness and we can move on. I just want to know what the rule is that
isnt void.
Lobue: If you are asking me to disclose whats in the security directives, I
cant do it.
In other words the law itself that is being used is so secret that it cant be
disclosed in open court, even to a judge. So much for due process. So much for
being made aware of what you are being charged with.

There is
potential to be expatriated and denied basically all of my rights, which has
happened to some americans already.

Who have been found to have aided and abated our enemy.

Did this gentleman aid and abet any enemy?:

Hes a victim of the war on drugs which I note you support, John. So, by the
way, are his jurors, who have been denied their right of jury nullification.
What happened to States rights? What happened to Federalism? What happened to
the 9th amendment? Those powers not explicitly reserved to the federal
government are accorded to the states, or to the people.
Here we have a hoity toity federal government that is trampling all over states
rights to determine what citizens can and cant do. And for what? !!! To prevent
patients who would benefit from a drug from *getting* that drug.
You support that sort of morality imposition, John. How many patients are you
willing to see suffer so that you can feel smug about your moral superiority?

Life is messy. Sometimes you side with a Stalin to battle a Hitler. But
eventually, you battle the Stalin as well. Nobody gives a rats ass about
SH.

Ive heard this excuse before and it doesnt wash.
