What makes it a "Spy Runner" ?

Is it some kind of spy plane? Aren't those supposed to be stealthy and/or
very fast?

What about the "runner" part? The only planes I've ever heard called a
"runner" are drug-runners. Are you supposed to catch this guy with your
Police sets and bring him to justice? ;^D

Just seems a bit "off" on its concept... can anyone explain this to me?

Maybe they got the name from Fibblesnork's random set name generator!  :-)

Actually, it's "typical LEGO translation."  Y'see, this isn't
the first Spy Runner LEGO has produced; there was a Technic
set also called that in '97 or '98 (I bought a mess of 'em in
Feb '99 for $1 apiece, they were green, etc etc).  So it's
probably just meant to be catchy, I'd suppose.  Now, were it
called 'Happy Spy Mountain Trekker' I'd definitely have to
   go with Maggie's suggestion.  ;)
