Hi everyone !
Here our 0.02 $ !
For those who don't know we 're international sellers located in Croatia,
Europe !
Regarding invoices .. we never include it while unlike US many coutries do
have import duties fomr construction bricks etc- therefore we always mark
gift on those papers and write low or no walue - so puting invoice inside
could give us some trouble right ?
Honestly, no one ever told us that he might need invoice or order info (and
we are nearing ot 100 packages send (30 before Brickbay adn 70 after shop
opening) ... mostly because we ONLY sell sets and because our shop is the
only one located in Croatia - os when oyu get package from croatia you
won't have to spend hours trying to figure out from whom it is ...
Packaging ... As Brett or someone already mentioned - you have to keep
two things in your mind - 1 protect merchandise, 2 keep shipping costs
down !
We're trying to avoid bubble envelopes whenever we can (and actualy
we're only using 'em to ship single smaller sets, but since many buyers
are aware that it is better to take more to save on shipping costs that's
pretty rare) !
So, as already mentioned - we are selling only sets - every set (parts
for it) is packed separately and if there are windscreeens or stuff like
that in the set - we wrap 'em in toilet paper) ! We always put some
newspaper in the box and some polystyrene chipps !
Well, noone ever complained about our "packaging style" (actually
there were some nice comments about it in our feedbacks) so I
guess we do good job ...
Problems might occure (like in our deal Scott) when merchandise weights
on the edge and although our scale shows us that it is in cheaper shipping
cathegory they at the P.O. find out that it is heavier than it should be
(thus 5 or more $ more expensive) - and all of that for only few gramms ,
then something must be taken out (usually some newspaper ... but
sometimes even whole (small) set - We found out that it is better /cheaper
to take a small set out and shipp it separately (or jsut to keep it until
the
next deal with repeated buyers) !
... I guess that's it for now !
Enjoy !
