Hey Richard!
The starch packing filler is the greatest (did you know that John
Ratzenberger, Cliff from Cheers!, helped create them, and owns the company
that makes them?) It is about as costly as the foam peanuts overall, unless
you know my secret.
Oh! I guess I should tell you what it is, huh? 8?)
Go to Kinko's. Every order they get from their distribution centers is
packed with the stuff (and they get two to three orders a week). Most of the
stores trow it away instead of melting it down in the sink like they should.
Ask them to keep it in a trash bag for you, and pick it up frequently. Make
sure they know you are reusing it. You might try this at other places as well.
