My personal opinion is that you can hardly ask for more from the guy, short of forcing him to take it. I handle a lot of sales and find that such people like your bidder are few and far between. I think that that ending time may be in error. As the high bidder going into the maintenance period, I was of course anxious to see the results after eBay came back up. filing a non-paying bidder form for fee credit is a losing battle. BEWARE! The last (and only) time I tried to do this the other party - highest bidder - replied to Ebay stating that I told him not to worry about it (a lie) thus making Ebay have to (...) I don't mean to make anyone paranoid, but there is one very serious problem I see with these services. Technically in order for a credit card transaction to be valid there HAS to be a signature.
