Wow! I guess he hasn't been trying very hard, as a 3 long friction peg solves
most of this 'problem'. There are so many solutions to this one, it's mind-
boggling. Even 1x2 and 1x3 plates are a viable solution depending on what you
want the parts to do.

I'll agree to a point. Certain parts have a single use. Too bad none of those
parts can be pointed out in the Bionicle line. Mindstorms, however, is a whole
new beastie. Has anyone figured out anything that can be done with the R2-D2
head parts from the DDK? I know that I haven't, and I'm pretty good at finding
uses for 'useless' parts.

True. Other Examples: Belleville, Lego Racers, Creator, anything including
'Timmy'.
