The picture in that article made me wonder if the popularity of Bionicle is
based at least in part on TV shows like Battle Bots and Robot Wars. Just
something about the way those two Bionicle thingy's are poised made me
wonder that.
Can we blame kids for being interested in something so seemingly exciting?
Can we blame the LEGO company for jumping on the bandwagon and producing
'flavor of the week' sets?
Can we have a happy medium, where LEGO produces exciting sets, that interest
kids (and maybe some adults) but that are well designed and look like
it took more than 6 3/4 minutes to go from misc. pieces to finished set.
