    My average set —Richie Dulin
Long time readers of .loc.au (and perhaps a few others) may recall my love of statistics, and my dislike of the use of averages as a reasonable measure of a population. I have therefore calculated the average set in my collection (though, of course, (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

(...) Great! So what is your median set???????? ROSCO (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: My average set —David Drew
Come on Richie, you have to give us more information than that. What is the metric you use to calculate the average? Set number? Pieces? Age of set? For the set re-releases, do you use the old set number, or the new set number? Also, what is your (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: My average set —Michael Dallaston
(...) Well quantified! Though I, for one, am not completely comfortable with the idea that a standard deviation can be as concrete a thing as a Lego set, albeit one as fine as the Clown-go-round. Maybe they cover this in second year... However I can (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au, FTX)
