Ive taken a little time and implemented a read-counter for web access to
news posts.
Now for display of individual articles you will find a new header line
saying Viewed: X times - it should show the actual views of that
respective article minus the current view (update happens after the article
is displayed completely).

Im sure no-one will abuse the system by reloading the page multiple times to
increase their own view count either. Just like no-one self-spotlights now ;)

| (...) ;) You know, I actually could have implemented some kind of reload-blocking, but then again I'm pretty sure the effort wouldn't pay off in the long run. I have just checked the read counts collected since the update, and it lists some 16,000 (...) (16 years ago, 8-Jul-08, to lugnet.general, FTX)
