Just a quick update:
I’ve taken a little time and implemented a read-counter for web access to news
posts.
Now for display of individual articles you will find a new header line saying
“Viewed: X times” - it should show the actual views of that respective article
minus the current view (update happens after the article is displayed
completely). Of course views are only being counted for a couple of minutes yet,
so it’ll take some time until the values become meaningful.
Nevertheless there is now a means of control whether articles actually get
viewed (I can’t speak for “read and understood” because that’s beyond
controllability ;) )

Hi Gary, I take that as a valuable suggestion for what might be changed in the near future, however it is somewhat difficult to tell how often a post has been read as we have more ways to access posts than just the web.
