There were some Busytown 'construction' toys - they had thick (like 1/4")
pasteboard building walls. There were baseplates with slotted grids that
you would stick the walls into, and then plastic roof pieces to go on top.
Lots of one-piece plastic figures, and cars for them to drive around in.
My mom has a few of those sets, they still get dragged out when the
grandchildren visit. :)
