I've now got about six sets (all < $10) in my new collection and am looking
forward to the Star Wars line. I've got a big model team truck,

on the way, which will help out my collection a lot.

The most beautiful set ever, in my mind--proof that great minds still work
at Lego.  I had to get a second one to keep in the box.  Still trying to
explain it to my SLSO (Semi-Lego Significant Other) wife, who doesn't really
like the amount of money I spend on Lego (about 10%) every month.

A friend and I decided I need six (not that I could get six)--two to build
and serve as bookends on the mantle, one to keep in the box, one to build
the alternate model, one to get pieces for a trailer, and one to convert to
remote control.

I can dream, can't I?

Jesse

(...) I think my interest in Lego had been fading gradually for a while before 1990, when my younger brother was born. In the interest of not having my pieces devoured, I put my collection into storage for a few years. I was 15 at the time, and (...) (26 years ago, 11-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)
