Cool, that is the set that brought me back out of the dark ages.
Went in to TRU to buy diapers for my kid and saw it on the way
out and had to buy it.  After that, ended up with four of them before
I thought I had enough.

Blacktron I was what brought me out of my dark ages -- 10 years ago now,
almost to the day!  Unfortunately, I spent a lot of 1989 playing "catch
up" on a lot of earlier Futuron and Blacktron I stuff.  :)

(...) You have much better timing than I do. I entered my Dark Ages *during* Blacktron I, and tried to play catch-up around 1993. :-( I remember walking through Wal-Mart ca. 1992 and seeing every single BT II and most BT I sets, and thinking, "How (...) (25 years ago, 26-Mar-99, to lugnet.general)
