I have to agree with Mike here ... when I first read the initial posting, I shuddered at the prospect of a huge game. Our second NELUG game (the one that we finished) took about 4 hours to play to conclusion (11:30 to 5:00, with about an hour for (...) (24 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.gaming)

That is Eric Joslin's fantastic burned out European-style cathedral. We should all nag him to post pictures of it, because it really is amazing in and of itself. Have you read "Starship Troopers"? Not the craptacular Paul Verhoeven movie, but the Heinlein novel? RAH goes into quite a bit of detail on how his cap troops are in communication with each other; basically the grunts have radios with one channel (...) (25 years ago, 25-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

I use two "megaphone" pistol pieces for most of my rifles, you need to stick a 1x1x1 round piece between them so they can fit in both a minifig's hands comfortably though. They look better when the characters are holding them too. Steve (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.gaming)

These are great! Lots of praise to follow: 1) I am amazed by the green-hilly-mountain-forest area of the scenery - it looks amazing! Ahh, that's it! I looked up vehicle stats in the Brikwars 2000 tome (I'm slowly making the conversion from version '98), and it all makes sense to me.
