On January 18th, NELUG had its first BrikWars game featuring superheroes. While I'm still in the process of doing the write-up, I have created a Web site in support of this game. (...) Actually, I think it is an excellent question! :) Basically, the true "play" of the game is mostly by emails. this is probably a dumb question, but exactly how does one play? also, is there a place where the 'play' can be observed? essentially.. so someone could see whether they would want to take the time and effort to play, or some other level of (...) Sorry, not to veer off-off-topic, but I had to de-lurk to say that I absolutely *loved* Amoeba Wars. I played a bunch of Avalon Hill games and that one was the best (although I think was one called "War in the Pacific" or something that I also (...) (22 years ago, 27-Nov-02, to lugnet.gaming)

The rules as written definetly make a portable game. Many rule books just include sections with the optional rules.
