Yeah. Hey if we could solve the centering and rotation problem with a table,
couldn't we run converters to Anton Raves' library? Would this project be too
big to be worth undertaking?

Good idea.
Steve, we've got a lot to talk about concerning LDraw.org after BricksWest. I
really wish you coulda been there in person.
First off, the sessions went GREAT, and we helped a lot of people get
introduced, or even get better at, using the LDraw system. And, I did a session
over at LEGOLAND with the assistance of Ahui and his laptop (grrr Dell, for not
shipping mine back before the event), and got about 15-20 park guests
interested. I had a couple big posters advertising the LDraw sessions both at
BW and at LEGOLAND posted AT the park, so people knew to come.
The LDraw Community Roundtable went great, despite it getting a little heated.
But, it was all good in the end, and all realize we don't improve without
struggle. A GIGANTIC thanks to Ahui's wife, Marisela, who copiously took notes
on the laptop of the discussion going on! I'm hoping to get the file from Ahui
today sometime and I will edit and post it. Unfortunately, it wasn't
videotaped, so we can't get a transcript of it like we did for Brad's Q&A.
Some big ideas were discussed, especially about what LDraw.org's involvement
should be in the development of the editors, in relations to the library, etc.
Steve Barile and Jake McKee will be working together on writing something up
about their ideas and getting them off to me, we'll chat and start discussing it
publicly.
I guess today is unpacking and then developing a to do list for the future of
LDraw, working on website releases, and keeping at it.
Oh, and working on my resume and sending that out to a few places.... ;-)

| (...) Yes, there are plans for this. My current issue is with the syntax being used. I'd rather use general 0 IF ... 0 ELSE ... 0 ENDIF meta-statements, rather than the 0 L3P meta-statements. (...) It seems like LGEO is pretty static now. Lutz is (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray)
