(...) Sort of yes and no. Pocket PCs usually run 320x240 (or 640x480 on the high end ones) in 16 colors/pixel, not the fixed color palettes of the old CGA/EGA days. Hi all, Any chance to bring this topic back to attention? Would it be possible to make an LDraw VIEWER for Pocket PC (Windows Mobile, CE or other portable systems). You could indeed put the parts on a memory card and view any LDraw model (as long as (...) (20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Actually, that could be a good thing. Each pallet *.lxf file is just an archive containing BRICK*.CHUNK part files. (The model *.lxf files are archives each containing a MODEL100.MODEL file.) (...) Hi Allan, This is a fairly common problem, it is almost always caused by your video card drivers being out of date. You should install the latest ones from your manufacturer's website. (...) I'm a bit lost here. Are you talking about using ldglite to render image files, or render interactively? I ask because -mf and -mF ignore all STEP commands, but only for the non-interactive image file generating usage. There is a -D command (...) (...) Not yet. The current release always picks -4/3*x for the aspect ratio. I know the negative sign is required to convert the y axis from ldraw coords to POV. (...) The 4/3 is the aspect ratio of the POV generated rendering (matches 800x600, 1024x768, 1600x1200 etc.). If you for some reason want POV to do a high, narrow (or low, long), rendering this factor has to be changed. It's often easier to do a (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)
