  Re: Problems with LDAO, L3PAO

(...) Have you run Makelist lately? This function creates a new parts.lst file, which will include the new parts. The Make Catalog function depends on parts.lst. Steve (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: small ufo saucer hulls

(...) I've had it, in very draft form, for quite some time. If someone is interested in picking it up from me, to at least finish mocking-up, let me know. Otherwise, I could at least add the rest of the studs, and some skin, and send it to Joseph. (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: what is wrong with my parts?

Jonathan, My view of releasing 'official' parts for LDraw is that it is both a service to the online LEGO community, and it is an on-going memorial to James Jessiman. I have looked at a lot of James' parts, and there are many errors, inaccuracies, (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Feature requests for LDraw/LEdit v. 2

(...) Hollow, solid, or tube-shaped? I'd also like to see discs, arcs, spheres and cones. And some spline-thingy, I suppose. How about boolean operators? INTERSECT, UNION, and whatever's the proper term for "All of A that's outside of B". Steve (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDLite 1.7 suggestions

(...) I would like to chime in here too. F5 refresh would be nice. Especially since v. 1.6 no longer does what 1.5 used to do; In 1.5, when the model was done rendering, you could sele Option|View and hit Enter to redraw the model. Now, you have to (...)   Re: Technic (Throwbot) Leg with Ball Joints

(...) I'm just thinking that this name may be confused with the Technic figures, as they have legs, too. Adding "Slizer" after "Technic" will clear this up. Fredrik (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Ldlite suggestions

I've started making the first and last line of my work-in-progress be 0 TRANSLATE x y z [...] 0 TRANSLATE END where x,y, and z are offsets. If I get tired of that, I'll make mouse drags in the LDLite window change the offset values, unless someone (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: MPD format

That is all there is to it. "0 FILE name.dat" starts a subfile. The subfile ends when end-of-file or another "0 FILE name.dat" line is reached. By convention, tools like L3P and LDLite, when given an mpd file, will render the first subfile. The (...) (26 years ago, 14-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Problems with LDAO, L3PAO

  L3PAO Suggestion

I have a suggestion for something that ought to be added to L3PAO. Since it is possible to choose a background color, you ought to be able to choose an .inc file as a background(stars, grass, etc.). Would this be possible?? Ryan (26 years ago, 14-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Technic Cam 6575

Is anybody working on this part? I need it desperately for a model. If someone *is* working on it, could you email a copy (even if it i a work in progress), so that i can leave an appropriate space for it in my model? --Karim (26 years ago, 14-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Technic (Throwbot) Leg with Ball Joints
