hey gyug...

recently we spoke about implementing F5 refresh into LDLite... here are a few
other ideas that have popped up over the last few days while authoring parts...

since we probably all have come up from our roots in LEdit... i often find
myself hitting + and - to try and zoom in/out... any way we could get that
implemented???

i also often try to hit up, down, left, right arrow keys to "nudge" the model
in the view... any way we could have the arrow keys bump the model... basically
just redraw with a center offset value???... we might even put text boxes in
the Options|Options dialog box for what the X/Y "nudge" value would be... start
with like 25 or something.. let the user specify otherwise...

and someone else also requested what we've all talked about for a while..
auto-centering... i know that one of two methods would need to be used to calc
the bounding box of a model and then set the zoom/offest accordingly... you
seem to be speaking from a standpoint where the entire model will be loaded
into memory prior to rendering in the next release... in this case, would it
make calc'ing the bounding box possible before rendering as well??? or could we
perhaps have a checkbox under Options|Options for this feature since it will
increase the wait before rendering either way...

just some ideas... thanks for all your hard work... and thanks for the info on
.MPD files.. i'm starting work on "M-Peedy" this evening!

J

(...) I would like to chime in here too. F5 refresh would be nice. Especially since v. 1.6 no longer does what 1.5 used to do; In 1.5, when the model was done rendering, you could sele Option|View and hit Enter to redraw the model. Now, you have to (...)
