  Re: Utility Spreadsheet

(...) No problem. I'm glad it was useful. I had to make a formatted spreadsheet for my own use. Until I had this thing, I would spend half an hour re-deriving the formulae, then typing it in, then making corrections to what I typed. I'd do this (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: [ldraw.org] Domain Registration

(...) Oh, I agree with most of what you said, and ultimately it is your money. I guess I just have a problem with spending more money than necessary.   Re: suggestion for roadplate like parts

(...) That's a good general suggestion for patterned parts. Some parts are already set up this way -- the minifig torsos are one example. I don't think there are any baseplates where there is more than one patterned element for any one basic (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Utility Spreadsheet

Thanks a bunch for this. If I had a nickle for every time I've typed in formulas to interpolate a line . . . I especially like the plane/line intersection sheet. I used it to compute the edge lines for right-angle intersection of two different sized (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Is there a Part creating Tutorial?

(...) Very cool! Heads and helmets are two things I dread trying to do. I did entertain momentary thoughts about trying R2-D2, though. Some easy heads to start with: Luke, Biggs, maybe Ben K. The Dak head is the same one used by SPII (others too?). (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Non-TLG Parts

(...) I don't need the part, I just remember it was a part that came up during a discussion on whether part-variations were important or not. (...) To be perfectly serious, for this part, I'd copy the existing 4081.dat and modify it. The only change (...) (26 years ago, 15-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
