Has anyone made the 1 x 4 x 6 door yet? It was made to match the 1 x 4 x 6 Window (3 sectioned), which has been used on later model sets, such as the Police and Res-Q HQs, bank (or should I say "branch office"), and the McDonald's set. Judging by some of the posts I've read, I'm not the only one dissatisfied with the overly "cute" juniorized minifigs. I do not own any of the technic figures, (...) Steve, I took a look at it and enjoyed the work that was put into this pattern. (...) Yes, a complete shortcut file should be created. A stub-file for the electrical wire has been submitted, you can use that in your shortcut. You should put the 'ferrit' (that's the electric leads, right?) in a separate file, and reference it in (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Don and Mark, I recently aquired partn number 6909 which is a 4 x 4 x 6 (?) Round Panel with Spherous Top. I can't help but notice how similar it is to 6002 and was wondering if you two were going to try to make that part also. I tried a little, but (...) (...) I had this same problem when I first put this mpd in my /parts directory. Apparently, MLCad does not like mpd files in the /parts directory. I had to separate the mpd into its subparts. I'm having a little trouble loading this as a part in MLCAD. When I load it on its own it's okay but when you use it in a Model the bow moves away from the side ribs. Does anyone else have this problem. Other than that it looks good. (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I was under the impression that you can submit them all as one MPD file and then someone in charge takes it apart and puts the individual files in the right directories (as long as the MPD file contains the paths). (...) Sure, but if you're going to submit the hi-res version of 6002.dat then why don't you just submit the new primitives along with it in an MPD file? I think that's reasonable. Just to prove I haven't been idling, here's another version of the Explorien symbol-and-planet logo. This one is an odd size (approx 10 times bigger than the logo on the 2x2 tile), and is in MPD form. I used a scanned image as the basis, putting it (...) Ok I dug up the hires ring generator program I made when I did 30056.dat and generated hires versions of 1-4rin18.dat 1-4ring9.dat so now it's all there in glorious hires with no ugly seams. 0 FILE 6002.dat 0 part 6002 round Panel 6 x 6 x 9 with (...) This has been submitted to parts@ldraw.org. I've now added the optional lines - looking at other heads in the parts dir I could find no special handling of the optional lines depending no matter what the head pattern so I have used the same format. Since I noticed this uses bits of the only piece I ever made, I felt compelled to check it out. Looks nice. One thing though. I used the hires primitives in the p\48 subdirectory for 30056.dat. (...) Very cool! Looks quite nice, even in purple. ;) But there is one little detail that c/should be changed: don't use WRITE statement. Comments are fine, just leave off the WRITE.
