1)Any idee where i can find the stub-file for the electrical wire?
Can i find it in the Parts/S directory ?

Oops, sorry.  Manfred Moolhuysen submitted it awhile ago, but I guess he
didn't post a copy.  Look for a copy at
<http://www.ldraw.org/library/unofficial/>.

2)I guess that with a complete shortcut file you mean *** one bottom part on
top of the top part (creating one complete connector)***
if so there rises another question:
starting from the speed regulator side, the first power connector you meet
has a 'passing through' electrical wire, the other one at the end of the
electrical wire hasn't.
Perhaps it's more conviniant to create a shortcut with 2 power connectors
with the electrical wire in between (from the first connector to the second
one) and place a short stub on the side where you find the ferrit (toward
the speed regulator)

Yes, you're absolutely right.

You can also make a separate file for each of the connectors, with just
a stub wire(s), so people can arrange the connectors however they want.

3) info : The ferrit is the 'black round cilindrical piece' that you'll see
at abouth 5cm (2 inch) from one of the power connectors.

Oh, ok.  That would be a separate file, in general.

4) any idee how i should name the 'ferrit part'

No, as I'm not certain what purpose it serves.

5) know that i'm still a novice in creating parts, so it could be that i
have still some questions comming up.

If you keep asking questions, you keep getting answers. :)

(...) I believe this is a tightly wound coil around a iron core, its purpose is a radio disturbance filter. (...) At first glance it looks very good, I'll hope to give that green light soon. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (24 years ago, 16-May-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
