I stand corrected, there is such thing as a 5 minute part (3 actually). here is a mpd file of a test dat file i knocked up to test whether bmp2dat could be used for making parts by making the bitmap at a much larger size than is required and letting ldraw resize it smaller. the pattern is not supposed to be correct (...) I had to enlarge this to 300% in LDLite/LDraw to make it look like it should, but in POV-Ray it turns out very nice. thanks for this part. i now have all of the "important" [1] starwars parts except the triangle roadsign,the brick 1 x 2 with side clip and the hatch from the sith infiltrator. (...) You use Black lines as borders on the pattern. The lines that are on the inside (example: the black lines bordering the 'clear' trapezoid on the sloped face) should be gray. I finally got around to making the patterned version of this part. I wasn't sure what to use for the color of the pattern, so for now it's just color 7. I also didn't attempt to model the "discoloring" that is present at least on my copy of this (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Adam, Please post only .dat files to cad.dat.parts. Questions/problems about parts should be sent to cad or cad.dev. By the way, have you tried using LDAOs Editor to create your parts? I can easily duplicate this error in any file by wrapping the end characters of a line to the next line. You will have to go through the file (...) Karim, I don't have this part in front of me, but IIRC the "fins" are angled, not rounded. Therefor there should be edgelines where the slope of each fin changes (at z=20 and z=-20). Also, I can't tell if there is an edgeline where the box (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Yes, I have one. It is more of a town jr. part. I got mine in the large RES Q command station(can't remember the real name right now). it could come in handy at some point, but definately falls under the town jr. catagory.
