(...) I run Windows XP on my Mac via dual boot and VMWare Fusion and have had zero problems with any LDraw related software. I also run Vista on a dedicated laptop and have had few issues with some older programs (LeoCAD to be specific) but no show (...) (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad)

I've been working on a script to import ldraw data into 3ds max with some moderate success. I've been able to build primitive data and apply color/texture to the objects. I did find an issue between max 9 and 10 this morning which has me cursing (...) (16 years ago, 3-May-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Sorry, I missed your bug report. LeoCAD used to compile on 64 bit computers but it's been a long time since I last tried and I don't have access to one anymore. (...) A 32-bit build of LDView should work fine as long as you have the 32-bit shared libraries installed that it needs. If you want, I can work with you to get it up and running. I'm just starting out with LDraw and I'm having a heck of a time trying to get anything running under my 64 bit Ubuntu 7.10 system. I'm mostly interested in LeoCAD, since it is the only native Linux building system that I know of. Since there are no (...) For some time I have been waiting for a full compliment of 45 degree slopes in LDD so I could build more houses using LDD with complex roofs. (...) No, I use glfinish(). I've had all sorts of problems over the years with Apple because I often render in the front buffer to emulate the various ancient ldlite immediate rendering modes. Does it update ok when you spin the model with the (...) (16 years ago, 24-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) For what it's worth, Tiger will run on a 300 MHz G3. While it certainly wasn't fast, I don't recall ever encountering any software that simply said "I need a G4". (...) That's interesting. I built it on a new laptop with the version of XCode that comes with leopard. However I just added the arch targets to the old makefile (but missed one of the libraries). I created a model using the latest version of LDD, I saved it before going out this morning. When I returned in the evening an tried to work on the file, LDD told me that "the model you are trying to oen appears to be in an old format" when I cleik (...)
