I run Windows XP on my Mac via dual boot and VMWare Fusion and have had zero
problems with any LDraw related software.
I also run Vista on a dedicated laptop and have had few issues with some older
programs (LeoCAD to be specific) but no show stoppers.
I would choose XP for 2 reasons:
- The previously mentioned restriction against virtualization in the EULA for
Vista Home Basic/Premium
- Virtualization software (Parallels or VMWare) plays better with XP since it is
a more mature platform.
