Great Work Chris! I was at a gaming store just the other day, and I saw two PS2 games that loooked like they could be mecha inspiration. Armoured core 2, and Zone of the Enders, they both have lot's of mecha in them, I think, I couldn't find any good online (...) (23 years ago, 30-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

about an hour after i posted i had this great idea to use the ball joints from the legs and arms of the old throw bots. normally i would never mutalate pieces like this but my dogs think they make great chew toys, anyway I just use them in (...) (23 years ago, 23-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) It depends on the width of the legs and the total weight of the model. If you have thin legs (no more than 4 studs) and a light Eva, using several click hinges in parallel will do the trick. Heh... I actually like it. This is a typical LEGO robot design, so why should anyone be surprised/shocked? The more I look at the new elements, the more I like them. Beautiful as always Brian! I like the overall form factor of this Mobile Armor very much. The head and arms are especially elegant. I like all the shapes that are going on everywhere.
