Since the great response to my new site was so overwhelming (not even one
reply, *sniff*) I decided to make a new powersuit for my SWAT guys. The suit
is the Xk-57 Powersuit nicknamed Bubba. This suit holds one man, who
controls the arms via a steering rod and the legs hydrolically by moving his
own. (Yes, the project started out as, 'what can I do with the At-At
legs...') His left arm houses a gattling gun, and the right arm uses a
strong gripping hand. Attached to his back is a large plasma rifle, which
can be used by the hand. The whole mecha is very articulated, and it is my
first time using click hinges anywhere (though I still dislike them, makes
joint building too easy..) I hope you enjoy it.

| Nick, I don't even remember your announcement. Perhaps it came on a particularly busy day...? In any case, I really like the Xk-57 (I can't bring myself to call it 'bubba', I'm afraid), but actually think the greatly unmodified legs stand out as (...)
