I am in the middle of building a home train layout with my kids, and am
cranking out buildings for the town section.  Although most are in
various stages of completion, this one is close enough to being finished
for a spy shot;-)

Nothing earth shattering, but I like the new color.  My other buildings
are tan (x2), dark gray, gray, black, white, and brown.  They really
look sharp in the non-primary color scheme.  None, of course, would have
been possible without LD bulk services (or Brickbay, for that matter;-)

I hoping to include them on the new GMLTC layout, but folks are saying
they are too big:-P   I'm thinking of starting a write-in letter
campaign on my behalf;-)

(...) I love the green building, that is a standout model! I should build my bank in that color, it looks like money! Oh well... Josh (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

(...) I scoped out the green/grey one. You've got some very nice effects there, I like the cornice. Is that just bricks turned 90 degrees? However it *is* a big building. Try some selective compression. Bigger isn't always better. I can see where (...) (23 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

Also, that is a lot of 1x1 with side clips! Wow - great detailing. I do not think the (...) (23 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

(...) Too big, schmoo big. Your building is great! Who cares what other people think, as long as you're happy with it, what else matters? If it doesn't fit somebody else's "standards" then its their loss, not yours. Katie (23 years ago, 16-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch)

(...) I'm sorry to butt in on this thread, but a person can have a solid building and still have it nicely detailed on the inside. Just follow Kevin Wilson's example and have your roof and each flor section removable to allow others to see the (...)
