Holy Shnikies! That mech is huge! And awesome to boot! I really like the arthropod-ish look to it, and I really like that its design is nothing like any of your other mecha. Thanks Dave! Yes the feet are meant to pierce the ground, this way the mecha is more stable when firing shells from the rail gun. Right now, when I place the mecha on a carpet it sinks in only 1 cm, but off course carpet and real-world terrain are (...) (24 years ago, 29-Dec-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Those yellow tubes pointing in several angles are generally called "smoke ejectors" when you see them on tanks - creates a smoke screen to hide tactical maneuvers. I'd hate to see this thing (...) Yea! Mass-destruction at it's greatest! Does it support it's weight well or does it fall after 2 minutes (My mecha have been know to do this...) BTW The pictures suck! Thanks Bryce! It is about a foot tall, I guess. My inspiration was just to build a really large 6 legged mecha, but inspiration also came from Masamune Shirow; ever seen Appleseed the anime, notice that big Mobile Platform mecha at the end... That gundam looking thingy looks tight but I have not seen it in any series of Gundam I have seen. Still an awesome custom. Believe me I have seen ALLOT of gundam. The Potomac Mills Lego Outlet store in Virginia has on display models of the Capitol, White House, Jefferson Memorial, and Lincoln Memorial. This is my first rendition of the Farscape 1 from (duh) Farscape. The ship in the show looks a little like nasa's x38. I've managed to build a copy of Bram's car just from the photos (incredible photography of a black model there), and have almost finished a dat file for it. I'd say: start by downloading some building instructions from Brickshelf. Take 8860 for instance, to start with a nice oldie. Have a look at the ever-present 8880 for the other end of the scale. And of course, check out the pictures I'll be putting (...) (24 years ago, 21-Dec-00, to lugnet.build)

Hi, Some comments on the roof discussion: I have one single grey rounded roof piece in 4 wide and grey ;-((( One DX-car might need 11 of them on each side!! That will be 66 for my train with 3 cars.
