Hi Derick,

believe it or not, but Dennis' website was the first LEGO website I discovered
in March 2000 which gave me a restart into my hobby!

I have regular e-mail correspondance with Dennis and he once promissed to
translate the crane sites! Even I am waiting for some unterstandable
information in english or german...

Years ago I build the same crane in scale 1:87 from the kibri - a company
selling special trucks and cranes for Märklin railways. It was even a challenge
to glue all the bits and pieces (especially the boom) and fixing all the
cables. The 1:87 modell is impressive to: 3 feet high!

I will ask Dennis again for a translation!

Keep on crane building - yours is great, too!!! Do you have some more detailed
pictures of the boom construction?

Regards,

Holger ...from Germany

P.S.
