To tell you the truth, the only things I go by when I'm building 4+ legged "beasts" is the shape of the bricks and how they interact with each other to form cool joints and shapes (a good example is my "Gorilla"). Actually, there are very few Gundam that transform. Offhand, I can only think of a few... -Wing/Wing0 -Epyon -Zeta/DoubleZeta maybe a couple others. I've seen lots of designs but none have enough power, air-wise. I need pressure and volume! I made a good one once using two of the large spring loaded pumps. Since the thin walls fro LEGO Direct are clear instead of tinted, they aren't ideal for office windows. They are however very useful for ground floor windows. (...) I've run into the same problem myself. Maybe at some point LEGO will create that missing arch, but I don't think they have. You could leave the curved opening, or you could add a second row with the medium arch stragetically moved forward and (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

Thanks Mark, good luck at building your own. Actually this model materialized just after I played Perfect Dark and saw the awesome VTOL in the beginning. The other reason I built this, was to make a VTOL with a REAL sliding door, and I am so happy (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
