I've run into the same problem myself.  Maybe at some point LEGO will create
that missing arch, but I don't think they have.  You could leave the curved
opening, or you could add a second row with the medium arch stragetically
moved
forward and up to cover the gap.

I don't think the latter is possible, seeing that the inner radius of the arch
is at a different sloping as its outer radius...

Nope, it doesn't fit.
I guess I'll go with a gap, then. But - ugh.
