LOL!  Brilliant, Kevin!
Come to think of it, I don't recall *ever* seeing
any other car dealership in Lego before.

6390 Main Street.  :D

I believe the red building in 6390 Main Street housed a driving school, not a
car dealership.

Nope, I'm pretty sure it is a car dealership.  The minifig fits the stereotype
perfectly, and why would a driving school have a huge showroom window?  The
second floor office has the feel of a car dealership as well, at least to me.

I always saw the huge showroom window as more of a parking space for the car.
You would think that lego could have used its "showroom" window piece that was
available at the time(as seen in 6375 Exxon Gas Station in clear and 6970 Beta-
1 Command Piece in tint). I considered the second-floor an apartment.

I suppose the only way to know for sure is to decipher what that symbol nect
to the yellow car (on the sign) means, assuming Lego didn't make the symbol up.

(...) a (...) stereotype (...) Beta- (...) up. I think that symbol is a front view of a LEGO steering wheel, so I doubt it means much. But it would lean more towards the driving school vs. a dealership. I think I would think twice about buying one (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.arch)
