Jamie,
Well, everything is pretty common (technic beams, axle, pins, gears)
except the turntables - and you can buy a pair of them in DACTA set 9876
"Large Turntables". I checked on the Pitsco website, and they're still
listed, at $10 US. Since you're writing from .au, I assume that you're
afflicted with the usual Lego acquisition woes... I don't know if Pitsco
delivers to Australia, or whether you've got a local DACTA supplier.
You can check it out and get back to me at my email address if you
wish. I imagine they'll ship to Canada... although their phone numbers
don't seem to work for me :(
Oh - and the turntables are available in a wide variety of enourmous
sets, if you're so inclined: The Technic Space Shuttle; The Pneumatic
Crane; and the Tow Truck all have them, I think.
The URL for Pitsco is
http://pitsco-legodacta-store.com/
and you can type "9876" into the "Product search" box to check out the
part.
Those turntables are great pieces - I regularly use them for turrets,
robots, you name it.
