John,
I will try a square frame next time (tonight?). Like the page mentioned, we
noticed a right-swerve tendency when we pushed it, so we should have known
what would happen. Even the tires not being on quite right could cause it
to swerve. If I had more of those newer wheels/tires (they're my son's), I
would use them. In the meantime, I am going to try a wider wheel.
Thanks for looking!

Greetings!
Thanks for sharing the pictures! Interesting results!.. Just some insights
to
share... on the car with the large technic tires, bracing to keep the frame
square might reduce the tendency to twist, although the turning resulted in
interesting footage... I also don't know if the wheel distance side to side,
(front shorter than rear ) being different didn't also contribute. Those new
tires that came on the big blue two truck "might" work out a little better
due
to not as much flex as the large ones that were used ... They used to be
available from S@H fairly cheap....
Anyway, Thanks for sharing your experiment and good luck with the next one!

| Hi Randy , Oh good! ... this means more pictures ? I used to run one of those Cox® engine cars with the airplane pusher prop on it. Fun times chasing it around the parking lots. There are many factors that could have contributed to the swerving. I (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.build)
