  Re: Cleaning Bricks

No, because dishwashers heat the water to way past 40 degrees C. Which will inevitably melt your LEGO bricks and probably stuff up your dishwasher. Washing machines that have a cold water cycle and a pillowcase half-full of LEGO are probably your (...) (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)

Re: B.I. Joe: Killer Whale Hovercraft

(...) Okay, I know I'm late getting in on this, but I had to say I'm a fan of all your B.I. Joe stuff, and the Killer Whale is no exception. When we were kids, my brother had the Cobra hydrofoil that was the counterpart to this hovercraft (which (...) (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Horodris the mech

Probably means light. Therefore the staff'd be a stoplight and (...) (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Horodris the mech

  Cleaning Bricks

Sure this subject has been broached before, but how is the best way to clean your bricks. I've heard the warm soapy water and a toothbrush, but is the dishwasher ok? Matt (20 years ago, 27-Nov-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Horodris the mech

I really like the leg design and gearing. Gears are like muscles for mecha. The more gears, the more powerful the machine (appears to be). The spindly arms could use a gear infusion to beef them up... But I know you haven't made a lot of armed (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: B.I. Joe: Killer Whale Hovercraft

(...) Thanks! They are mines of a sort...depth charges. Pomme de terre / Pomme de tErrE. :) And no...they don't really hurt whales. They 'kill' them metaphorically with witty satire and zippy dialogue. :) Cheers, -G (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

I don't use exclusively 1x1s... I use other size bricks as well, and at the seams of the baseplates beneath I make sure that I have larger bricks that spans the seams to hold the baseplates together. eric (...) (20 years ago, 26-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: LEGO Mosaic: Nativity Scene

(...) Eric, Very nice, just like all your other work. I am a newbie at mosaics so I have what it possibly a dumb question.
