Dis here is Horodris. Treat him real nice and he’ll do the same.

Some points of notes: I made the neck move on all three axis, if the head looks funny, it probably because it is at a strange angle.

mucho gearing in the legs. This is what is holding it up basically. Link to pic

Average height is 2’ tall. Depending on how you articulate the legs, maybe taller, maybe shorter. Arms are geared at shoulder for rotational axis only. The rest of the arms uses the newer click/rotation joints.

The hand is good. The fingers I know you seen before, but the thumb rotates as well as bends, the result is a thumb that can touch all four fingers and can lay the hand flat. Sweet. I had a really, really hard time capturing the hand, here’s the shot.

Build time was around 20 hrs total. Horodris demanded to be built, what can I do about it? But the name was eleusive. This mech was called Project Ogre up till four hours ago, when upon completion, the name Horodris came in LOUD AND CLEAR. I really don’t know what Horodris is, it just came to mind. Strike any bells out there?

Hmmmm, what eles? I tried to capture the detail, if you want more let me know, I’ll see what I can do. Most pics are small for your viewing convienance, with one execption this one. Big and beautiful baby.

There is a cockpit and engine. The red thingys on the back of the shoulders are supposed to be jet packs. I really didn’t intend the back to look like a face, but when I looked at it, it fit so I leave it be. With the execption of the staff, Horodris is a weaponless mech. (GASP) Well, ok, so there was something there I knew I screwed up. :)

Enjoy folks. pre-mod pic, if needed

It’s a good mech (if it weren’t for the legs, I would be forced to call this one “mecha”). I like how clean it looks - very nice indeed. I like the hands; many have used those joints before, but it looks like you put a lot of time in to the design so as to get a realistic represntation of hand articulation. I always love your trademark legs; on this mech they give a centaur feel to it - wait, not a centaur, but the two goat legged creature that played the wood instrument and frolicked throught hte forest...anyway, you get the picture...

Keep up the good work!

Later, Chris
