Very nice. While I personally would have used plates/slopes in such an endeavor, I will say that using strictly bricks still looks VERY nice, I certainly can't fault the final product. Hello Soren, The small fufyo... fafky.. hem, robot is nice. Its color scheme is delicious! The pirate ship looks, hmmm, perfect. But I don't find it especially "retro", although the chrome bits help. I've found more information and pictures about this exibit. For most of the models shown in the posted gallery, I recognized the real life sites they represented. The Statue of Liberty's pedastal was built in the middle of 11-pointed star-shaped Fort Wood on Bedloe's Island. If you get into an extreme pinch, you can make a passable orange 1x1 plate by taking a 1x1 plate with clip-lite and very carefully cutting off the clip with an xacto knife. orange 1x1's with clip-lite were in fair abundance thanks (...)
