a minor french manor in what could be somewhere in france perhaps. with small courtyard entrance and ever-present fountain. surrounded by formal and informal garden settings with apple orchard, meandering pathways, reflecting pool and formal flowerbeds, lemon tree and gazebo.

ironically, i didn’t study anything but my lego pieces! i haven’t yet tried to reproduce a certain style in great detail, i usually just work toward getting a look. an architect or art historian may be able to point out mistakes and anomalies but i just like to build. i’m not sure i want to replicate anything which is why i haven’t tackled a “real” building or landmark. the creative juices flow more easily when it’s my ideas i’m trying to get down “on brick”. i have a lot of plans for the future, but really only just bits and pieces of ideas and i don’t know exactly what the finished product will be. a garden idea, a shared staircase idea, a building with a lot of wavy walls. i haven’t rebuilt anything yet but there is a moc i made called floating floors which i did quite a few years ago. i didn’t take enough photos to get the details and now they even look a little lame but now that my collection is bigger, i think i’d like to improve upon it. you can be sure they’ll be posted here when they’re finished! thanks again for checking out my work.

In fact the color scheme you used is kinda reminescent of the scheme I used on a (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)
