Very nice.

While I personally would have used plates/slopes in such an endeavor, I will say
that using strictly bricks still looks VERY nice, I certainly can't fault the final
product.

I was in my Dark Ages during my wedding, and it was an EXTREMELY small wedding
anyways, but this certainly would have looked cool then.  Of course, I didn't even
own enough white Lego in 92 to build such a piece for my wedding (and to those
people, that wouldn't be reading this anyways, that didn't think my marriage would
last because my wife was too good for me, NYAHMYAHNYAH!) ;-)

Now, the question is, are you going to go for live greenery in it, or Lego?  Come
on, rise to the challenge, make some Lego greenery that outshines the "real"
greenery!  ;-)

Here's a MOC I made to attend the reception at my wedding at the end of the

Inspiration came from Mookie, who was telling me about a swan sculpture she was
building that she found online.  That sculpture is here:

I really liked the idea of building a swan for the wedding, so I passed the idea
by Christina, and she liked it too.  But I wasn't too thrilled at the size of
the swan, I really wanted something much more bold and larger (seems to be a
theme with me, doesn't it?)

So I did a google image search for real swan pictures, and molded those pics to
the sculpture Mookie sent me to.  In the end, I created a Swan-Boat style
centerpiece to be used at the wedding.

(...) Thanks much! It also helps that I don't own that many white plates or slopes :) (...) I think the greenery will have to be silk. I'm afraid that all, and I do mean all, of my green is tied up at the moment in my village. (URL) a good idea (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.general)
