Hi all,
Heres something I built for a local event at a school with an undersea theme
Its gotta be the most difficult thing Ive EVER tried to build. Im
normally a castle builder (rectangular stuff), so building something with
curves was a huge learning experience. Another limiting factor is the fact
that I didnt have any orange 1x1 and 1x3 plates (which are hard to come by,
or dont exist)!

very cool. If you get into an extreme pinch, you can make a passable orange 1x1
plate by taking a 1x1 plate with clip-lite and very carefully cutting off the
clip with an xacto knife. orange 1x1s with clip-lite were in fair abundance
thanks to Ice Ramp Racers. yes I know, modifying lego is evil, but what ya gonna
do ? the 1x3s are another story tho.

Im quite happy with the face itself - I think it captures Nemos playful
look. I used a plush Nemo toy as reference, but got carried away with the
head part and now its too long (especially the forehead). Im going to
re-do the body/forehead in the future once I can bear to look at orange
bricks again.
Any comments are welcome! One particular area of feedback Im looking for is
suggestions as to what piece(s) I should use for the black outline at the
front of Nemos dorsal fin. The black slope brick 75 2x1x3 that is currently
there looks way too dominant...
Thanks,
Bryan
