(...) If you are really set on a single backboard, I would buy 4 thin sheets of 4 X 8 plywood. Lay 2 pieces side by side to form a 8 X 8 square. <snip> Yes, 4 x 8 is the standard size for sheets of plywood. One alternative is to get (2) 4x8 sheets, and have them cut down to (2) 3x8 sheets. A local museum has asked me and my students to create a giant mosaic for them to be displayed. Hey, great job! I especially like the leprechaun! The form is great example of the quality of building that can be accomplished with just basic brick. I think it would be wonderful if the entries were also posted on the fighters section of the Shipyard. I think the community should definitly be the one to decide.
