Thanks for the feedback! I agree about the red cheeks, but it looks worse without them, and Santa has to have rosy cheeks!

I build most of my sculptures using only bricks from the 3033 tub (r.i.p.) so pink is not an option. You’ll also notice I didn’t use any plates either.

There are a couple of reasons for this. One is that people often see sophisticated LEGO models and say “I could never do that--when I was a kid all we had was the basic bricks and I wouldn’t know what to do with these fancy parts.” Building using only those basic bricks kills that argument... Another reason initially was that I wanted to make sculpture kits to sell, and use 3033 tubs as parts sources for that. But now that the 3033’s history, that wouldn’t be possible anyway.
