  How to get apart that structure?
 
Hi folks, Jan, a friend of mine, couldn't sleep last night, so he thought of building something, which couldn't be able to get apart again. And he was succesful. WOW! Those are fabulous, especially considering the constraints imposed by their small size. The A44 and A66 are my favorite and the A93 reminds me of the Tead from Mospeada (Called the Beta in Robotech, The new Generation). Boy, creating models (...) Great work Sproat! I'm really impressed with the design of some of these models. I am also impressed with the quality of the rendering. Did you use l3p for this? I just spent about 45 minutes tearing through my parts bins to build a "A91 Heavy Tactical Suit, Kasperic Custom", or as close as I could get to it. I was able to get (...) This time it's more of a rebuilt of one of my existing craft, the Tsunami. But I renamed it the "Beryllium Serf" and I kinda think it is one of the angriest looking models I have ever built. (...) All the wallpaper and view backgrounds are POV-generated. With the exception of Convoy, they were modeled in MLCad and then L3P'd with the other models. First and foremost, "Moonbase Io" is now called "Silicon Psyche". Why? Basically because the villians in my story are big, sentient robots. (URL) built about a dozen 20 inch tall fully transformable lego versions of this thing years ago (it has a blockyness that is favorable to lego). Never could get the face right though. Yes, the series has more labors in it, tho its hard to find the eps anywhere... took me over a month to finally get the 7 original OAVs, 16 second OAVs, and 47 episodes of the TV series... Here is one of mine: (URL) just threw it together tonight, but I think it looks cool. It gets its name (pronounced like "Pharaoh") from the headdress like assembly on the rear of the main body of the ship. No match for the Admiral's race craft by (...) Actually its an antennae. The piece should be one of those dark gray bars (Lightsaber piece) that come in some of the Star Wars sets. I don't actually know the identity of the part used in the model. I was wondering if you experts and novices out there in the field of building mecha could give a newbie some tips on building mecha out of legos, or if some of you know of webpages that have tips on them (i think i saw one at one point not sure (...) I think carriers lend themselves to be light for their size because their biggest main section is hollow, made mostly of castle walls, BURPS and baseplates. I bet if I were to build a (...) Nice looking fighter - mean and kind of "dirty" looking, if you get my meaning. Is that some kind of Gatling Laser on the front? It looks pretty neat. It's thickness is probably slightly much, but you could probably use one as the base of a background for a customized sign for a store ... You'd need to design and apply the stickers though. Well I was going to do what I've done with my other mecha designs. And that is design a couple of different weapon systems for it and show off all the sub parts. Minifig scale is what I had in mind, because that way it will fit into my current line of mecha. Though it could easily be considered a microfig tank. Yep, and if you combine those high-speed, high-precision pressure regulators with low stiction cylinders and a fast PID controller you can get even better accuracy and repeatability. There are six legs that can each rotate out a full 180 degrees. Each lower leg swings along a click hinge. I picture it being some sort of small troop support mecha that is operated by remote. (URL) are all in green, and some have apples printed on them. It's supposed to be a Freestyle tree, but you can make much more realistic three-dimensional trees with other parts.
