You take every opportunity to remind us all of how great 8 wide is. We get
it. Move on.
Some people like it, some don't. Different strokes for different folks but
stop prosetylising so hard, even in fun, eh? You're starting to resemble a
Jehovah's Witness on this topic! :-)

cf. my many pronouncements in off-topic.debate, there is no such thing as
Utopia. Not in politics, not in modeling, not in anything.
While 8 wide allows for more detail with less design effort, it has
downsides too. Significant ones, which mean it's not for everyone, and
people should be free to make their choices without being harassed about it.
Personally, I find it more challenging to work in the smaller envelope that
6 wide enforces, because I like the constraints imposed. But I don't post
about it every time a 6 wide MOC is posted to point that out.
Make your choice and be happy but don't see every 8 wide MOC that's posted
as a chance to step on your soapbox about it! Even in fun, it gets tiresome.
Live and let live, I say.
